A Clinical study on the Implant Supported Overdenture

Abstract
It is easy relatively to establish the treatment pannning because the implant placement can be possible to the location for not only the esthetic aspect but also the proper retention and support using the implant in the case of the overdenture procedure.
If the accurate diagnosis, the detailed planning, the careful surgical operation and the thorough oral hygiene maintenance of t.`-e patient is established, it can be assumed that the prognosis is favorable and the high success rate is expected.
The firm understanding of the concept of occlusion is needed for the longterm success of the osseointegrated implant prosthetics.
The occlusion recommended for the overdenture is the fully balanced occlusion in relation to these clinical cases, and in some cases the lingualized occlusion can be recommended also to provide the lateral force as less as possible.
The implant supported overdentures using the O-ring,bar,and magnet attachment were fabricated with the good clinical results such as the improved retention, the esthetics, and the stability in patients with overdentures in these clinical cases.
Better selection of the attachment system in the overdenture supported by osseointegrated fixtures must be established through the exact understanding of the biomechanics about the impla it, the maintenance of the oral hygiene, the meticuluoius consideration of the different iral environment existed in the every patient.
It must be kept in mind that the establishment of proper jaw relationships, the occlusion, the esthetics, and the function depend on the success rate.
